Allen Thomas has spent the majority of his career in public health education and research. Before moving to Santa Fe in 2018, he worked for Tulane University for 10 years where he administered programs for a variety of departments that included the Center for Engaged Learning & Teaching, Domestic Violence Law Clinic, Office of Violence Prevention & Support Services, and the Student Health Center. Currently, he is working as a freelance photographer and film producer. He holds a PhD in Health Education and MEd in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Food Science from North Carolina State University, and a BS in Microbiology from Clemson University.
