Those who dress up their pets in honor of National Dress Up Your Pet Day on Saturday will receive free gift boxes from a Santa Fe pet store during an adoption event at the DeVargas Center.

The noon to 3 p.m. event at Teca Tu on Saturday, Jan. 14, will feature adorable foster puppies and kittens, along with other pets at the store, 165 Paseo de Peralta.

“Celebrate the day by dressing up your furry family member,” organizers said. “Maybe even go all out and wear matching outfits!”

The adoption fees on kittens and puppies are reduced to $25, while all adult pets are fee waived. Adopt one kitten and get one free! All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready to go home to loving families.
