Where the Need
is Greatest

We serve some of New Mexico’s poorest communities, including the Native American Pueblos of Ohkay Owingeh, Santa Clara and San Ildefonso. Our outreach efforts build relationships with pet owners, identify the health of at-risk pets, and schedule surgeries for intact pets.

Upcoming Events

We hold low-cost vaccination and free spay/neuter events at our clinic to help pets in our community stay healthy.

Today’s Reality

In the midst of this pandemic, our community, volunteers and team members are banding together to help homeless animals. It turns out that we need animals as much as they need us.

Big Goal,
End Game

Spay/neuter is our top priority and we provide over 6,000 free surgeries every year. Today, there are fewer litters being born and fewer animals becoming homeless. In the next five years, we will decrease the number of unwanted animals by 70% through high-volume spay/neuter.

Puppy Patch Sprouts Again

Our puppies are featured at Ojo Santa Fe, an award-winning resort in Santa Fe. Puppies arrive weekly, fresh from foster care, for a week of spa pampering, and are then available for adoption. The Puppy Patch is open by appointment only, Friday and Saturday afternoons.
