Puppy Palooza at Petco Santa Fe

A plethora of pets is prompting Española Humane to reduce adoption fees and host a Puppy Palooza at Santa Fe Petco on Saturday, Sept. 3, a perfect time to adopt for the holiday weekend.

The adoption event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store, located at 2006 Cerrillos Road. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for loving families.

The shelter has more than 50 puppies and 60 kittens available for adoption. All kittens and puppies will be available for the adoption fee of only $10 during the special event and all adult pets are fee waived. A recent Kitten Fiesta found homes for more than 30 kittens.

“We hope our focus on puppies will have the same kind of success for these loving pups,” said Bridget Lindquist, the shelter’s executive director. “It’s the perfect time to fall in love with a four-legged friend.”

The special adoption pricing continues on all foster and shelter pets in an effort to find loving homes for an overabundance of homeless animals.
