Española Humane, Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Felines & Friends New Mexico continue collaborating with a joint adoption celebration on Friday at Santa Fe Place.

The Better Together Adoption Event, which takes place from 1-5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at Santa Fe Place Mall, 4250 Cerrillos Road, will showcase a diverse range of puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats, all eagerly seeking their forever homes. All three organizations will offer adoptions at $50, including spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, and more.

In addition to the adoption opportunities, the event will be broadcast live on the Richard Eeds radio show, Talk 1260 103.7 KTRC, from 1 to 4 p.m. Animal experts will also be present to provide valuable insights into animal care, training tips, and advice on responsible pet ownership. Individuals also have a chance to learn more about volunteering or becoming a foster with the organizations.

The Better Together initiative is a way for organizations to collaborate to raise awareness, promote pet adoption, and celebrate the incredible bond between humans and animals. The organizations walked together in solidarity during the children’s pet parade.
