Española Humane Animal Clinic partners with local and regional veterinary providers to offer accessible care for pets in Northern New Mexico. Referral requests must be submitted directly by a licensed veterinarian through our Director of Clinic Operations.

We prioritize patients from our service area of Rio Arriba County, Ohkay Owingeh, Española, La Puebla, Chimayó, and Santa Clara Pueblo. Referrals for clients outside of our service area are considered and accepted on a limited basis, as space allows.

We provide gentle euthanasia services and partner with trusted local providers for cremation and memorial options, helping families say goodbye with dignity and support.

Pet Amigos: Community Outreach

Our outreach program helps families access free spay/neuter, supports community cat caretakers through TNR, and provides pet food assistance when needed.
