Paws at the Polls adoption event

Española Humane and the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office are partnering for a unique opportunity to adopt a pet before or after casting a ballot at an early voting location. “Paws at the Polls” combines civic engagement with community service, organizers said.
Española Humane will bring adoptable pets to the early voting station at the Nancy Rodriguez Community Center, 1 Prairie Dog Loop in Santa Fe, from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, May 29.
Puppies and kittens are available for just $25, while adoption fees for adult pets are waived. All pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to become cherished members of loving families.
