Española Humane is excited to introduce its new Executive Director, Kate Baldwin, at a special mobile adoption event on Saturday, Feb. 15, from noon to 3 p.m. at Teca Tu, 165 Paseo de Peralta, in Santa Fe. This Valentine’s weekend event will feature puppies, kittens, and adult dogs available for adoption at reduced prices, with a chance to meet Baldwin and learn more about the shelter’s mission. Baldwin, who joined Española Humane in January, brings extensive experience from leading animal welfare organizations, including her time as the chief communications officer, acting CEO, and COO at the Virginia Beach SPCA. She is passionate about providing compassionate care to animals and supporting families in Northern New Mexico’s underserved communities. “I am deeply honored to join Española Humane and work alongside such a dedicated team,” Baldwin said. “I look forward to meeting the community and visiting with our off-site team and volunteers.” The adoption event offers reduced adoption fees and a special Valentine’s gift for all adopters.
