Cowgirl BBQ hosts Saturday Kitten Fiesta

Cowgirl BBQ - Santa Fe, NM 319 S Guadalupe St,, Santa Fe

Española Humane celebrates the much-anticipated Kitten Fiesta on Saturday, July 27, offering reduced adoption fees for dozens of furry friends.

This year's Kitten Fiesta is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the billiard room of Cowgirl, located at 319 S. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe. Over 50 kittens will be available for adoption at a special fee of just $25, or two for the price of one.

"I can’t think of anything that matches the joy of watching a kitten play, except maybe two kittens play," says Bridget Lindquist, the shelter’s executive director. "We always encourage adopters to double up!"

The Kitten Fiesta promises to be an event brimming with furry companionship, and the event offers not just adoptions but games and giveaways. All kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to be cherished by their new families.

In addition, all pets are microchipped, and dogs receive heartworm testing and six months of heartworm prevention; cats are tested as well, ensuring their well-being.

Bring Your Dog To The Movies

Head to the movies this Saturday for a free showing of Best in Show in the Railyard District. Hosted by Española Humane, Teca Tu Pet Store, and Nusenda, the event welcomes dogs and their families for an evening of fun. The movie starts at sunset, around 7 p.m.
Before the movie, Española Humane will host a “Best of Show” contest where participants can showcase their dogs to the audience. Teca Tu will also be offering giveaways. The event is part of the Movies at the Railyard series and will take place at the Railyard Park Performance Green.
Eventgoers are encouraged to pack a picnic dinner or enjoy offerings from the on-site vendor. Feel free to bring chairs and blankets, but please note that alcohol and umbrellas are not allowed.
All well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. This event is free and open to the public – and their furry friends.
