Española Fiesta Pet Parade, Adoptions and Free Vaccinations

Espanola Humane is thrilled to announce its role as the Grand Marshal in this year’s Espanola Fiesta del Valle Pet Parade, sponsored by Petsense. The annual parade is set to kick off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, starting from Sacred Heart Church, located at 908 Calle Rosario, Espanola, NM, and culminating at the lively Española Plaza. The shelter will be joined by other vendors and festival participants at the plaza.

The Española Fiesta del Valle Pet Parade is open to everyone, and we warmly encourage all pet lovers to join in the parade. For those who enjoy dressing up their furry friends, there’s an exciting opportunity to win fabulous prizes from Petsense.

Once at the Plaza, Española Humane will be offering pet adoptions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing a wonderful chance for prospective pet parents to find their furry companions. In addition to pet adoptions, the shelter will also be offering free pet vaccinations. Please bring dogs on leashes and cats in carriers.

As part of our commitment to finding loving homes for our animals, Española Humane is offering pet adoptions fees at only $30 for puppies and kittens, and all adult pets will be fee-waived. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to become cherished members of their forever families.

During the event, Espanola Humane will be hosting giveaways, providing valuable information about volunteering opportunities, and promoting fostering initiatives for those who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of animals.
